Christian Partners Development Agency (CPDA) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization established in 1993 and registered under the NGO Coordination Act of Kenya. For over three decades, we have been committed to advancing democratic governance, gender equality, environmental protection, and sustainable livelihoods for communities across Kenya and beyond.

Where We Work

We implement programs across 15+ counties, including Vihiga, Narok, Kajiado, Makueni, Nyamira, Kisumu, Kakamega, Machakos, Kirinyaga, Bungoma, Nakuru, Uasin Gishu, Kilifi, Nyeri, Kericho, and Murang’a.

CPDA Staff and Roles

The staffing structure at CPDA is flexible and tailored to the needs of each project, with positions filled based on specific skill requirements. Staff members are hired competitively to ensure the highest level of expertise.

Accounting Department:
The Accounting Department is a critical part of the organization, headed by a CPA-K-qualified professional. This position is considered technical and plays a key role in financial management and accountability.

Project-Based Staffing:
CPDA hires staff based on the requirements of individual projects. The roles are aligned with the nature and size of the project, ensuring that the necessary expertise is available.

Other Roles

Local Engagement:
Engaging with communities, local leaders, farmers, and government representatives to ensure alignment and support for initiatives.

Government Liaison:
Coordinating with relevant national and county government agencies as required to facilitate project activities and compliance with regulations.

Contracting:

Managing contracts with smallholder farmers and community forest associations to implement project activities effectively.

Project Management:
Directing and managing the implementation of projects, ensuring that objectives are met within the set timelines and budgets.

Monitoring and Reporting:
Overseeing the monitoring of project progress and preparing reports on impacts and outcomes for stakeholders.

Additional Roles

These include capacity building, community training, advocacy, partnership development, and resource mobilization.
